PEOPLE are being given a last chance to have their name featured in the forthcoming ?Book of Tavistock? written by Gerry Woodcock and published by Halsgrove.
Anyone who orders a copy before August 4 automatically has their name entered into the publication which is due for release in September.
The book will be the latest in the Community History Series by Halsgrove and Mr Woodcock, who has been writing books for 20 years, will be compiling the words for a book on Whitchurch next year.
He said: ?The Book of Tavistock will follow the same format as the other Halsgrove publications, such as the development of the town, the sporting activities, societies and clubs, churches, schools and personalities.
?It will contain around 300 pictures and 70,000 words.?
