A PUBLIC meeting regarding the landslip at Lower Kelly, Calstock was due to be held yesterday (Wednesday).
Two members of Cornwall Council's localism team were due to attend the meeting to take any questions from members of the public.
The landslip was also due to be discussed by Calstock Parish Council following the public meeting.
Cornwall Council is intending to hold weekly meetings for residents to speak to relevant officers.
The council has also agreed to pay the reasonable costs of requests for car hire for residents who require transport after their vehicles became trapped by the landfall, is looking at available options to deal with the trapped cars, and exploring options for retrieving cars trapped beyond the landslip.
Geotechnical engineers were on site this week to carry out a survey to confirm the stability of the ground where the landslip occurred.
