TAVISTOCK enjoyed their journey to Wadebridge on Saturday returning home with the maximum and going top of the table into the bargain.
Neither side carved out much in the first forty-five minutes, a case of puffing and panting their way up and down the park and it may be fair to suggest that Wadebridge may have puffed their way to a slight advantage.
The second half saw The Lambs in the ascendancy and in the sixty-fifth minute, Lee Doncaster ? who appears to be leaving the club for Porthleven ? laid on the telling pass for Sean Cann to score his first senior goal for the club.
The Cornish side rallied for the last ten minutes but whilst their forward intentions were obvious, there was little class in their finishing, much to the relief of the Tavistock followers.
