Carlsberg South Western League
Tavistock 3
Liskeard 3
NOBODY could have left Langsford Park disappointed after both sides served up an entertaining display to share the spoils.
The Lambs were slightly under strength with Chris Gott, Lee Beer and Paul Adcock absent but in came Will Westlake to make his second appearance for the club this season.
The Lambs could have taken the lead straight from the kick-off as Paul Smith threaded the ball through to Lee Doncaster. His chip over the defence allowed Simon Parnell to lob keeper Ian Baker but he got just enough on the ball to send it in the air and despite Parnell?s challenge Baker was able to push it away for a corner.
The Lambs were buzzing for the first 15 minutes, putting their opponents under pressure but could have gone behind but for the efforts of James Cole who cleared the ball off the goal-line.
The Lambs then had the Blues on the run with two goals in a minute. From a throw-in the ball bounced in the area and there was Parnell to lash it home from the edge of the goal area.
The Lambs quickly regained possession and Andy Meeds? punt upfield caused problems in the visitors? defence for Doncaster to see Baker off his line and embarrass him with a clever lob that went in just under the crossbar.
Liskeard looked dead and buried but it was only for a short spell - they pulled a goal back within five minutes. Cole was fouled on the edge of the area and Paul Edwards sent in a low free kick that took a deflection off Darren Babb on its way past Meeds.
Three minutes later it was all square as Sargeant laid the ball back into the path of Lee Harvey to give Meeds no chance.
The Lambs found themselves behind after just four minutes of the second half as Morgan?s long crossfield pass found Sargeant clear on the edge of the area to set himself up and put the ball under the body of Meeds.
But the Lambs came storming back. Babb headed back across goal from a Cole corner with Doncaster unable to get on the end of it and Parnell?s effort come off the woodwork. Westlake flashed a volley wide then saw another effort headed onto the bar and cleared before a great run from Wayne Crow saw him cross for Doncaster to dummy and leave the impressive midfielder free inside the area to lash the ball home for a deserved equaliser with 20 minutes remaining.

THIS game was devoid of good football due to strong winds blowing across the pitch at Staddiscombe.
The Lambs had Lee Beer from the Carlsberg squad in the line-up. Paul Allen, making his debut, opened the scoring with a sweet left-foot volley after the students had failed to clear their lines from a corner.
Tavistock?s young keeper Ross Tregidgo was soon in action to force an attacker out wide. His cross was cleared and Tregidgo then did well to palm away another cross.
The Lambs thought they had equalised after 35 minutes when Richard Searle beat the keeper but as the ball crept near to the University line it was hooked away.
The students finished the stronger and with 20 minutes remaining drew level with Ekolore turning sharply in the area to fire home.
It looked that the Lambs would hold out for a point but slack defending ten minutes from time allowed Tucker to get in a shot and despite Tregidgo saving he could not prevent the follow up going over the line.
