BUG hunts and craft activities are among the various special mornings being provided at Roadford Lake this month. On August 14 and 17 education officer Jo Simpson will be holding Bug Hunts and on August 21 and 24 Terrific Trees sessions will be held. Children will get to play games and take part in craft activities and hunt for bugs. Both events will run from 10am to 12 noon, meeting at the cycle rack in the main car park. The sessions are free, but booking is recommended on 01566 784981. Other recreational opportunities at the lake include cycling and rowing.
