SOUTH West Lakes Trust is inviting interested people to join countryside wardens Paul Lott and Kevin Pearson at Roadford Lake to assist with practical habitat management within various habitats.

This winter work will focus on the removal of invasive scrub species from parcels of Culm grassland and possible woodland management to thin out neglected copses.

The volunteer days will take place on Tuesday, February 4 at 10am, Tuesday February 18 at 10am, Tuesday March 4 at 10am and Tuesday March 18 at 10am.

Meet at 10am in the lakeside car park, immediately inside the gate at the warden's office.

Please bring suitable outdoor clothing for working in the countryside and a packed lunch. Tea, coffee and biscuits will be provided.
