YELVERTON Golf Club entered 3 Ladies? Triples in the County Triples which were played in Central Park, Plymouth last week.

One of the triples was successful in progressing to the 3rd round. Unfortunately they were beaten by CityBus.

A Ladies? friendly match played against Tavistock saw Yelverton Golf Club soundly beaten. There is great friendly rivalry between the clubs and Yelverton members looking for revenge when they have a return match.

The men lost to Tamar in the County Trophy but in the Evening League they beat Electra.

There being no matches arranged for Saturday some of the members took advantage of the free day and played in the first round of Club Competitions.

On Sunday 4 rinks travelled to Exeter where they played a friendly match against Pinces Gardens which ended in a draw.
