THE Moorland Ladies Darts League held a round robin competition at Gunnislake Social Club on May 24.

The aim of the evening was to raise money for the Charity Trident House (Make a Difference). They are a charity based in Tavistock that provides help and support to people who suffer from both long and short term mental health problems.

A donation of £100 was presented to Sandra Edney and James Allenby of Make a Difference, by Mrs M Bickell, the chairwoman of the MLDL.

The round robin competition ended in a draw between the Red and Black Club and the Prince of Wales, so further legs of darts were played to determine the winning team.

The Red and Black Club were victorious and walked away with the Interleague Charity Shield.
