Womens? League cup Tavistock Ladies 0 Liverton United 9 The Tavistock Ladies made a good start against a side in the division above, and after 20 minutes the score was still nil nil. But when the the Liverton strikers started scoring, they became difficult to stop, with two skilled players continually working the ball around the Tavistock defence. This was despite a tremendous game from Tavistock team captain Tina Parker, in central defence, and Emma Beesley who did her utmost to prevent the Liverton ladies scoring. Tavistock goalkeeper Zoe Stock had a solid game and prevented the score mounting up. Rachel Kelly was producing slide tackles galore to stop the Liverton forwards in their tracks and Jo Webber was also not afraid to get stuck in. Tavistock did their best to make some changes and all those who played adapted well. Hannah Jennings came on after half time on the right wing and made an excellent effort. At half time the score was 4-0 and then 9-0 at the final whistle to put Tavistock out of the cup.
