THE game started with Tavistock dominating play and within ten minutes a penalty flick was awarded to the home side, this was saved by the Plymouth University's keeper with an impressive flying dive.

The game was end to end with attacks and counter attacks from both sides. The scoring opened with Armstrong finding the back of the net from open play. Plymouth University quickly picked up the pace again and were awarded several short corners, with their routines down to a fine art the score line quickly became 3-1 to the away team.

Tavistock fought hard to work back possession of the ball and Lamb struck the ball to make the score 3-2 to the away side at half time.

Plymouth University continued to put goals past Tavistock in the second half, all from short corners.

With seven minutes left on the clock the score was at 5-2 to Plymouth University. Despite this the home side did not let their heads go down and the defence of Boulle, Evans and Colston battled to feed the ball up to the midfield of White, Langsford and McClumpha.

Tavistock started to capitalize on their attacking play with several short corners being awarded but they could not seem to put the ball past Plymouth's strong defence and keeper.

Two quick goals finally came from striker Toignton.

This saw the score pulled back to 5-4 and with a final short corner being awarded to Tavistock, Law found the back of the net to make the final score 5-5.

A well deserved draw for a well fought match.
