GADGETS for the kitchen will be demonstrated at a fundraising event tomorrow (Friday) to help the Ockment Centre.

The cookery demonstration will feature a wide variety of kitchen implements, and guests will be invited to buy any gadgets they are impressed by.

Mandy Kenyon, demonstration organiser said: ?When I saw this opportunity I thought it would be a fun way to help the Ockment Centre as the charity will receive a 10% donation from any sales.?

The show starts at 1.30pm and costs £1 to attend. There will be a free raffle and refreshments.

?I?ve got my eye on a non-stick mini-muffin tin and de luxe pastry brush,? added Mandy. She said there were also a number of labour-saving devices that were so useful they were sure to avoid the fate of staying hidden in kitchen cupboards.
