FIRE crews from Tavistock and Yelverton attended the scene of a kitchen fire at Horrabridge, last Friday.

A chip pan fire had been extinguished by a neighbour before the arrival of the fire service and those involved were treated for smoke inhalation by ambulance personnel.

The kitchen was slightly damaged by fire and crews used a thermal image camera to check for hotspots and make them safe.
