Easter in the Tavistock Sensory Garden will be a fun time for children.

It will be the most colourful competition in Tavistock – and it’s so easy!

All you have to do is to find the Easter pictures (like these right) hidden throughout the garden and fill in the missing words from poems. The poems couldn’t be easier – something like:

‘If you’re looking for an Easter Trail

With a prize for finding rhymes

You only need to look inside

This week’s ……………….’

The competition runs from Good Friday to Easter Monday (April 15 to April 18)and is open to children under the age of 11. Entry is free and the entry forms can be got from the garden itself, next to the Tennis Courts on Plymouth Road.

The first correct entry pulled out of the hat on Easter Tuesday will win a £15 Voucher to be spent in Tavistock shops.

And the words missing from the poem above? Of course it’s ‘Tavi Times!’
