WEST Devon Borough Council has teamed up with other key public services across the county to give people better information about the services they use every day.

Every household in the county is receiving a booklet which aims to provide a handy at-a-glance guide with information about who provides local services, how well they are performing and where to go for help.

The booklet combines information from district councils, the county council, Devon and Cornwall Police and Devon Fire and Rescue Service.

In West Devon, the booklet also includes information from Dartmoor National Park Authority, and has been delivered with the council tax information.

In what is believed to be the first partnership of its kind in Britain, the agencies have pooled their resources and data to produce the booklet.
