Kelly U15 XV 41 Truro U15 B XV 12 KELLY registered their first victory of the season against a weakened Truro. The Kelly forwards rucked well and early tries came through Captain Liam Yeo and Lock Rhys Byrne. Kelly took control both in the forwards and backs and Giles Kisby and Mat Peck both scored before the interval to make the score 22-5. After the break Kelly made a few changes and Truro came back at 22-12 and began to really play attractive rugby. The Kelly squad weathered the storm and Will Gray kicked well from fly half to put the team in commanding situations. The forwards continued to battle and further tries by Liam Yeo (2) and Tristan Hext sealed a good win after some excellent converting from the touchline by Liam.
Cullompton U15s 12 Okehampton U15s 44 OKEHAMPTON continued their recent good form with a confident display at Cullompton. Improved fitness allowed them to dominate the loose, providing plenty of ball to play an open and expansive game for most of the match. The support was excellent with players rarely being isolated, resulting in good ball retention. This was a real team performance with everyone playing their part.
