KELLY College and Kelly Prep School swimmers took part in the the Aquae Sulis open meet at the University of Bath last weekend and stacked up an impressive 51 medals between them to win the 'top club' award.
This superb effort by the Kelly teams saw them beat other teams from Reading, Swindon, Chelsea and Westminster, Hereford, South Dorset, Basingstoke, Colchester and Bristol by more than 100 points.
Thirty nine swimmers from Kelly took part in the event and competed in a total of 228 individual races.
Kelly swimmers won 17 golds, 17 silver and 18 bronze medals and accrued 172 new personal best times.
Medal winners included: Charlie Bayliss, Reut Benaim, Elliot Boon, Thomas Brew, Cameron Brodie, Matthew Courtis, Nadia Edling, Dan Gillard, Sophie Hastings, Georgia Jones, Molly Redford, Stefanie Roskosch, Mark Sammut, Lucy Sanderson, Blaine Small, Ben Staig, Erin Walsh and Beth Watmore. New Kelly College age group records where achieved by: Millie Murdoch, Molly Redford, Lucy Sanderson, Blaine Small, Nadia Edling, Tom Brew, Dan Gillard, Elliot Boon, Matthew Courtis and Cameron Brodie.
