HAVING beaten Plymouth College earlier in the Plymouth area selection, Kelly girls' firsts went through to the next round which took place at Blundell's.
The Kelly team played much stronger in the second half and there was some excellent hockey between Kelly's Olivia Eadie and Laura Siggelow, but the game remained scoreless.
Kelly's second match was against Blundells, who took in an early lead. Kelly's Steph Hole and Chantal Whitfield proved solid in defence, while Barnie Goldstone and Annie Court took the brunt of the blows defending but the game went to Blundells 3-0.
