FOUR members of Kelly College's lower 6th form came third in the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors' South West Schools' competition at Plymouth University.

Henry Chamberlain, Matt Earp, Clem Boyle and Alex Boswell entered the competition as part of their Geography A-level course. The team was required to design a sustainable, community-based development for a currently derelict site in Plymouth. The design also had to be fully costed and supported by a press release.

The Kelleians' entry was based around a business park that included accommodation, a gym and a café, and revolved around the central theme of live, work, play. Judges singled out the entry due to its original, hexagonal design that fused practicality with innovation.
