POLICE are asking the residents of North Tawton to keep a sharp eye open for anyone seen using the village primary school's swimming pool during the summer holidays.
The pool has been vandalised in the past during school holidays and Okehampton police are aware that youngsters have already been seen around the pool 'out of hours' this year.
PCSO Lee Walker is putting on extra patrols during the holidays and will be using his knowledge of the area to make sure acts of vandalism do not happen again.
Anyone who sees suspicious activity around North Tawton Primary School should contact Okehampton Police Station on 08452 777444.
