MULTIPLE karting champion James Clarkson scored an emphatic victory on September 12 in the seventh round of the Clay Pigeon kart club?s championship at Evershot near Yeovil.
After qualifying in pole position James, 18, piloted his 80 mph 125cc Rotax Max machine to victory.
It was 10 years to the day since James started his racing career at the same circuit on a 50mph 60cc cadet kart.
September?s victory means the SMB Plating and Tavy Signs backed driver has a healthy lead in the championship with three rounds remaining.
