EVEN though Okehampton only had ten players, they dominated from start to finish but it was one of those afternoons when they just could not find the back of the net.
With a succession of corners and movement towards goal, it seemed only a matter of time before the ladies scored, but every shot went wide or over the post. Galmpton made a few advances but were denied by the combined strength of the defence and goalkeeper.
This spell of bad luck continued in the second half with Michelle Vaughan, Sarah Rew, Jessica Burdus and Karen Fuell all putting the ball wide.
