Bude U13s 19

OKEHAMPTON played with only 14 players. Bude started well, scoring first.

Okehampton then pressured with good driving runs from Rob Long, Scott Simpson and Stuart Bennie, with Jake Chisholm and Luke Crocker backing up well to keep the ball moving.

From a scrum in the Bude 22, Rob Long picked up and was stopped just short of the try line, but good support from the pack drove him over to score.

Soon after he scored again from a tap penalty.

Richard Friend, playing scrum-half, moved the ball well for David Binns and Wayne Atherton to have some good runs, Atherton being unlucky not to score.

Bude attacked well in the second half and excellent tackling by Chisholm stopped many attacks. Atherton made a good tackle on the Bude winger on the Okehampton 22, Long, good in support, picked up the ball and ran in to score.

Tom Browne converted two tries.
