STAFF at the Margaret Green Animal Rescue will be plummeting towards the ground at speeds of 120 mph in the challenge of a lifetime this spring.
Nicola Ging, Hannah Dunn, Kirsty White and Garrith Garwood will be jumping out of an aeroplane at 15,000 feet and free-falling for 45 seconds in tandem skydives to raise money for the Margaret Green Animal Rescue in Wingletang, near Tavistock.
The money raised will be used to refurbish the rescue cattery by laying new concrete floors in the exercise pens, provide drainage to the garden which is the centrepiece of the cattery, refurbish the interior of the cat pens, re-lay internal floors and maintain the side walls and the roof.
The refurbishment is expected to cost £10,000, and the team are hoping to raise at least half of this amount through the skydive.
The staff will be undertaking this challenge in April and need to raise as much money as possible.
