ENTRIES were up by about 200 this year to 910, at Callington Autumn Show. The standard of work was very high indeed and most of the judges were still occupied when it was time for lunch! A special section was added this year for the allotment tenants but there were no entries at all from them so they may not be catered for next year. The large number of primary school composition, poetry, handwriting and art entries were excellent and the Beavers? models ingenious. All the junior entries were very good and the new arrangement of keeping them together was well received.
