OKEHAMPTON kicked off and good movement and passing saw their captain Josh Bush crossed the line in the corner for the home side's first try. Despite the tight angle, Liam Wilkins converted with a superb kick.

Wimborne replied immediately with a try of their own, which was successfully converted. The Okes passed the ball out to the wing, and gave Alex Arthurs the chance to cross the Wimborne line in the opposite corner. Wilkins was unsuccessful with the conversion.

Almost from the re-start, Paul Penberthy gathered the ball and weaved between two players before kicking the ball forwards towards the try line, only to be tripped by the Wimborne number seven.

Moments before the end of the first session, Arthurs made another great run to score a try in the corner for the home side and the play ended at 17-7 in Okehampton's favour.

Wimborne kicked off the second 20 minute session, and Okehampton continued to put pressure.

Quick passing between the home players saw Penberthy off load the ball to James Balch, who crossed the Wimborne line.

Again the Okes pushed forward and Luke Dennis was able to cross the line for their fifth try of the game and the session ended at 27-7.

Having changed ends again, Okehampton kicked off and Wimborne eventually break through the Okes' line, and race round under the posts for their second try.
