AN OKEHAMPTON accountancy practice will be starting the new year with a strengthened team. Thomas Westcott has expanded its tax department with the appointment of three specialists. A spokesman for Thomas Westcott said: 'Dale Simpson joins the firm as a partner. Dale is an expert in inheritance tax planning, capital gains tax and acting for landed estates. 'Jane Evans joins as an associate. Jane is a private client tax advisor who deals with all aspects of the UK taxation of UK and foreign individuals. 'Lisa Lane, who also joins us, specialises in personal and capital taxes. 'Lisa, Jane and Dale have all previously been with other firms in the region and are all highly qualified and at the forefront of their profession.'
