DID you watch this year's Okehampton Carnival and wish you had been involved with it? Well now's your chance!
Okehampton Community Education Department 'Stepping On' is creating a carnival club early in the new year. It will run for nine months leading up to the 2002 carnival and be open to anyone.
The group will meet weekly, firstly planning an entry and subsequently creating an exhibit which might be a walking entry or maybe a float.
The education department is looking for people of all abilities and from all walks of life to get involved in this project, particularly those who are committed and creative hard workers.
