TAVISTOCK Area Children's Centre has re-launched its local breastfeeding group, which is now known as Boobie Babies.

From September 9, the group will meet every Wednesday between 10am and 11.30am at the Red and Black Club on Crowndale Road, Tavistock.

The group is available for mums and mums-to-be to come along and meet other mothers who are breastfeeding their babies.

The aim of 'Boobie Babies' is to provide an informal and friendly place for mothers and babies to get support and help when needed.

The group will also be running free courses to train mothers who have breastfed their own babies, to become qualified breastfeeding peer counsellors and be able to help even more mothers over a wider area.
