THE Fishermen's Mission charity is inviting walkers in West Devon to join them on their sixth exciting annual sponsored Midnight Madness night walk across Dartmoor this summer.

If you have never experienced Dartmoor at night, then this walk, on Saturday July 16, is not to be missed. A spokesman for the charity said: 'If you enjoy a challenge then sign up now for something a bit different, it's an opportunity not to be missed. Teams and individuals are all welcome.

'Your participation will help raise valuable funds for the Fishermen's Mission which provides emergency and welfare support to fishermen and their families 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year.'

The walk is organised and managed on the night by the Plymouth team of Dartmoor Search and Rescue.
