John Hegley is one of the most well-established musical stand-ups in the country and is known internationally as one of the country's finest and most innovative comic poets. He presents new comedy show, 'Letters To An Earwig' at Exeter Phoenix on February 7 at 8pm.  He is an Edinburgh Festival regular and has performed in Australia, Canada, and at the USA Comedy Festival in Aspen, and with Ulrika Jonsson and Anita Dobson in The Pyjama Game. He has made irregular appearances on TV, most notoriously with Terry Wogan and Clive Anderson, and on Blue Peter. He is also known for his own series on BBC4 'Hearing With Hegley'.
