OKEHAMPTON Primary School leavers from year 6 put on a colourful special performance of Jody and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat as part of their leaving celebrations recently.
The performance was renamed Jody in deference to Jody Bailey, who played the lead role, and featured songs and dance from the musical ? with a special guest appearance from teacher Cath Monks? Golden Retriever Jessie, who played the part of a sheep and a camel, complete with hump!
The children made their own multi-coloured waistcoats to wear during the production as part of a design technology project and performed the play to infants, juniors and parents at the end of term.
