A WHITCHURCH woman will be serving up hearty breakfasts to the public next month as she takes part in the Breakfast for Breakthrough fundraising event.

Jenny Watt is one of thousands nationwide who will be cooking up a treat to raise money for Breakthrough Breast Cancer during breast cancer awareness month.

Jenny said the illness was a 'devastating disease' which proves fatal to more than 1,000 women every month in the UK and affects one in nine women at some stage in their lives.

Jenny will be serving breakfast on October 31 between 7.45am and 9.45am at her Whitchurch home. And, to work off the meal, she is arranging a brisk walk on the moor at 10am. All money raised will be donated to Breakthrough.
