ON Saturday, May 22 in terrific weather, more than 120 players took part in an individual stableford competition for the 'County Captain's Salver'.
Winner of division one and the Salver was Jeff May with a creditable 43 points on the back nine from, in second, Kevin Perryman. Third was Jonny Rattenbury with 39 points.
The second division saw four players come in with 39 points and after countback the winner was declared as Phil Hobbs, followed by Kevin Homeyard and, in third, Paul Widdows.
The third division was won by William Kinkead with 42 points on the back 9 from Ray Grey also with 42 points.
Third was Rob McDowell with 35 points.
