JAZZ, proms and a family day of entertainment is all lined up for the Whiteford Music Festival this weekend near Stoke Climsland. A jazz party featuring T J Johnson is scheduled for tomorrow night (Friday) and Saturday sees a full orchestra proms evening, featuring the Corps of Drums from the Royal Marines, Plymouth, and a fabulous fireworks finale. Sunday is chill-out day for the family with Mad Dog Mcrea, Hot Content and Taiko drummers from Callington Community College. There will also be a circus skills entertainer for the children. The festival, organised by Stoke Climsland Church, is shortlisted in the final 12 of the Ecclesiastical Insurance?s most innovative church fundraising appeals.
