THERE are changes in the Times newsroom this week with the appointment of reporter Jane Honey as the paper?s deputy editor. Jane, who has been with the Times for eight years, succeeds Roger Malone, who has left the title to join a Plymouth-based publication. Editor Colin Brent said: ?We were sorry to see Roger go after 15 years with the Times, but look forward to Jane taking over the role. ?She has a detailed knowledge of West Devon and the issues it faces and has proved herself to be an excellent reporter.? Jane has lived in Tavistock since childhood and is a former student of Tavistock College. She and her husband, Phil, have two children, Tom, 18 and Robynne, 15.
