FOLLOWING midweek success against SB Frankfort, the match on Saturday against Efford Youth saw a more confident Thistles.
First half goals were scored by Ben Langton (4), Ben Pridham (2), Ben White (1) and a superb long range shot from the halfway line saw Jack Quinn score his first goal of the season.
Good defending by Ian Harvey and Thomas Simmons and Cadan Lowther ensured the second half began with a clean sheet.
Efford Youth pulled one back early in the second half, but strong play by Joshua Leeson, Rhys Dunford, Matt Jefferies meant they were denied further success.
Goalkeeper Phillip Snell came out of goal to play in attack and managed to score a goal himself! His replacement in goal, James Northey, did sterling work keeping Thistles well in front. Ben Pridham completed his hat-trick and substitute Elliott Hoyte added his contribution to the score.
