A WEST Devon woman launched her first ever novel last Thursday on Valentine's Day at Tavistock's Bookstop book shop. Jackie Waddle, aka Anna West, who has been writing for 12 years, signed copies of her new book 'Breaking New Ground'. Jackie, who lives in Tavistock, said she delved into many different types of creative writing before settling to what interested her the most — novel writing. 'Breaking New Ground' is a contemporary romantic novel and features main character Adele Parker winning a TV competition to have her garden revamped. She can hardly believe her luck — but the good luck grows, when her neighbours join her and they all cash in on an unexpected opportunity.
