HOME-START West Devon?s recent eighth Christmas party was deemed another great success by the forty children and their parents who attended.
Everyone joined in the fun with Steve Newton from ?Art Works? making masks and puppets before tucking into an enormous party lunch at the Ockment Centre, Okehampton.
Father Christmas then arrived with not one but two sacks of presents for the children.
This year?s party was made possible by a kind donation from Tavistock Rotary Club. Home-Start West Devon relies on support such as this to provide fun activities for families in the community.
It is also dependent on local volunteers to offer friendship and support to families where parents may be coping with illness, loneliness, disability, multiple births or several under-fives.
