OKEHAMPTON?Community Recreation?Association is holding a series of fun netball nights at Hatherleigh Community Centre as part of the Active Villages scheme.

The nights, for those 15 years old and over, will run on Thursday May 12, May 19, and May 26, completely free of charge between 7pm and 8pm.

OCRA encourages everyone, regardless of motivation or ability, to come along and join in the fun and relaxed sessions.

The Active Villages scheme has already seen residents of Hatherleigh enjoying themselves at a fun day at the community centre.

People of all ages enjoyed fencing, badminton, tennis and cricket among a range of activities, with more than 30 people getting active.

Active Villages is currently working in Hatherleigh, Chagford, North Tawton, Okehampton Hamlets and other local areas.
