SUPER snaps and fantastic photos will be judged next week as Okehampton's Camera Club look to name their photographer of the year. The club photographer of the year competition will be judged at the next meeting on May 12. Club members have submitted images across a range of categories including urban, abstract, portrait and architecture. The images will be judged by photographer Ken Holland and the member who is awarded the most points will be named photographer of the year. Camera club spokesman, Tracey Norman, said: 'There has been a fantastic number of submissions with the majority of members taking part. None of the images have been entered into club competitions before so it will be an excellent opportunity to view new work. 'This is our last meeting before the summer break so if you are thinking of joining us, please come along on Monday night — you will be very welcome.' The club meets every other Monday at 7.30pm in Okehampton Conservative Club on Kempley Road, Okehampton.
