STAFF at Lifton Pre-school were pleased after receiving the results from the latest Ofsted inspection.

The pre-school recently received confirmation that the overall effectiveness of the early years provision within the pre-school was 'good'.

They were strongly praised for the good range of resources and toys available to the children, the hard work and dedication of the staff and the strong partnership the staff have with the parents and carers.

Play leader Gill Jones said: 'We were very pleased with the result. We got a 'good' in our last inspection and it was great to get a 'good' again.'

In September the pre school introduced the provision of sessional day care for children aged two and upwards which has proved to be very successful.

A mother, baby and toddler group is also held at Lifton pre-school run by the new toddler group leader Natalie Shute on Tuesdays at 1.15pm.
