OKEHAMPTON started well and Brad Ausden had a chance early on from a throw in that was saved by the keeper.

Tom Fogarty was kept busy down at the other end and made a brave save. Luke Alden knocked a great ball through to Craig Dennis. He passed to Brad Ausden who took a shot on the turn to see it again saved by Sidmouth's keeper. Okehampton kept attacking but could not seem to break down the Sidmouth defence, then Andy Milton put through a great ball to Ausden who finished well to make it 1-0.

Sidmouth came back and scored a great goal from a free kick.

Again, Okehampton had some good chances but Sidmouth's keeper was having a great game and nothing seemed to get past him.

Sidmouth broke away again and scored to go into the lead. Okehampton kept up the pressure and when Alden was brought down in the area Ausden took the penalty to level the score at 2-2.

Tyler Greenhalf made some great runs and defended well, giving Ausden another chance at goal only for the keeper to save his shot again.

Tom Boother put in a great ball and Ausden finally got his hat-trick with a class goal.

Okehampton were on a roll and Craig Denis soon scored a screamer to make it 4-2. Boother finished the match with another good goal to make the final score 5-2.

Axminster U11s 2

OKEHAMPTON travelled to Axminster with only ten players and the home side sportingly fielded ten as well.

Okehampton saw themselves 2-0 up with two cracking goals from Tallan Burns, both hit outside the area.

Just before half-time Axminster scored two to even the score.

The second half saw Tallan getting his hat-trick from a great ball from Ollie Frier.

Okehampton's fourth goal came when Tallan chipped the defenders for Frier to run on to. A great team performance.

AN excellent team performance saw Okehampton cruise to victory A good cross from Alex Marden part way through the fisrt half saw Niall Leahy score with a neat finish. A goalmouth scramble saw him double the lead before Reece Foster scored with a low drive.

Ebby Vallance saved well when Axminster broke through but overall Josh Arthurs and Craig Penderthy defended well.

Just before half-time Archie Frier put Leahy through to complete his hat-trick.

The second half saw Okehampton continue to dominate with excellent teamwork producing two more goals for Leahy.

A GREAT performance from Okehampton who were playing together for the first time. George Morgan had a great game in goal with Chloe Macnamara and Josh Brock defending well in front of him.The midfield of Jay Carroll, Tyler Smith and Rhys Holland attacked well and Tyler opened the scoring with a good shot into the corner.

Okehampton continued to play well and got their second from a shot by Corey Friend. Despite pressure from Axminster George pulled off some great saves to ensure Okehampton held on to win.
