THE Tom Cobley in Spreyton will take part in the World's Biggest Coffee Morning for the first time later this month.

Roger and Carole Cudlip, who own and run the pub, are hoping to raise more than £500 for Macmillan Cancer Support on Friday, September 28. Starting at 10am, the pub will host a cake stall, raffle, cream teas and a teddy tombola.

Carole Cudlip said: 'Many people we know both personally and through the Tom Cobley have recently been affected by cancer and after seeing the advert about the World's Biggest Coffee Morning we wanted to do something locally to help.'
