A WEEK of crime is to be held at Tavistock Library from July 5 to 10 to celebrate three years since the new building was opened.
Staff will host various activities surrounding the theme of crime, including a quiz for adults and a word search for children.
The programme will include the launch of a crime section with newly-purchased stock. The writers? group will read excerpts of crime, the readers? group will review crime and PC Simon Dell will talk on ?Policing in Bygone Years?.
Community constable Larry Base will be available all week to offer advice and guidance on keeping you and your home safe.
The highlight of the week will be author Bernard Knight talking about his books, and the grand finale of a Murder Mystery event, where you are invited to solve the murder.
The staff will be dressed as characters from crime. Tickets and programme details are available on request from the library.
