TAVISTOCK Bowling Club men?s team completed a whitewash of their opposition in last Tuesday?s Farley Trophy competition when they won all five of the disciplines played.
Lionel Sims won the two wood singles match 21-13 and Clive Jago took the four wood singles game 22-16.
Malcolm Bloomer and Brian Preece achieved a narrow 15-14 victory in the doubles, while Mike Allen, Pat Sykes and Tony Coombs won the triples format 25-11.
The four-player rink was won 29-7 by Eric Stevens and his team of Colin Tremaine, Der Saunders and David Perry.

Thursday saw both ladies? and men?s teams in action at different venues.
The men journeyed to Plymouth Devonport Park for a County Trophy match which they lost 75-79, despite winning two and drawing the third of the four rinks played.
Skip Mike Allen and his squad of Pat Sykes, Phil Jury and Tony Coombs won 24-13, while skip Roy Northam and his team of Colin Tremaine, David Perry and Lionel Sims had a 20-16 winning margin.
Skip Malcolm Bloomer and his team of Der Saunders, John Smith and Brian Preece fought out a creditable 21-21 draw, but the fourth rink skipped by Eric Stevens lost 10-29, which was enough to give the opposition a four shot overall winning margin.
The ladies? Thursday match was a friendly at home against two rinks from the Plymouth Hoe club. It concluded with Tavistock ladies having won on both rinks.
The ladies? home match on Friday was against the Plymouth Civil Service Reds team and resulted in a comprehensive victory for the Civil Service team, thanks to some strong and accurate ?firing? when they found themselves in arrears.
Saturday saw a Tavistock mixed team travel to Exmouth to play a match at the Mederia Club which ended in a 128-109 victory for the Exmouth club with both teams having won on three rinks.
Skip Roy Northam led his team of Shirley Blackburn, Derek Bradford and Frank Welch to a 24-18 victory, while skip Marion Allen and her team of Brian Preece, Geoff Cork and Tony Coombs won 22-11.
Skip Mike Allen and his squad of Val Southern, Wallace Northey and Freda Issac achieved a 24-14 winning scoreline but skips Tom Sharp (13-39), Norman Paramor (17-19) and Rob Bowhay (9-27) all lost.
