Bodmin Trophies Duchy division 4 east

Stoke Climsland 2

Lamerton 3

IT was essential for Lamerton to win in order to maintain their league challenge and it turned out to be a cracker.

From the start Stoke were in dominant form and after five minutes Phil O?Donoghue put the home side in front from close range. Nathan May led the home attack well and it was no surprise when Mark Dawe got a second towards half time.

In the second half Lamerton brought on Sean Cann and the balance of the game turned. Lee Wickett scored from a Panda Williams lay-off and the equaliser came when Kev Swift converted a pass from Paul Cowling.

Cowling broke clear to score the winner. There was still time for Pete Daniel to pull off a great save from a free kick.

In the second half Paul Cowling made it three with a great left foot shot then ran clear to beat the keeper for the fourth.

The scoring was completed when Lee Wickett?s pace beat the defence and he claimed a fifth goal.
