PUPILS at Lew Trenchard Primary are getting to grips with the latest technology with the school's two new iPads.
The iPads have been bought by the Friends of Lew Trenchard to help raise awareness of technology and communication advances.
It is hoped the iPads will give the children valuable learning opportunities and will also be used to record progress and achievements by many of the younger children.
The youngsters have also started work on an animation project using the new equipment and will be carrying it out in conjunction with some parents who have been studying animation as part of a 'Family Learning Initiative'.
Teachers at the school are delighted with the new iPads. They hope it will give children a chance to use the latest technology even if they do not have any access at home.
The children expressed thanks to the Friends of Lew Trenchard for their fundraising efforts.
