FRED Phillips, chairman of Okehampton table tennis club would like people to join them for an evening free of charge on Wednesday November 16 at 6.30pm.

The club is in Castle Road, Okehampton behind the post office where there is adequate parking.

He said: 'If you want to play for fun or are of a more competitive nature you will be welcome. Ours is a friendly club and can have up to 12 tables in use at any time.

'This is an ideal way to get fit or stay fit. We have a full time professional coach and five dedicated part-time coaches. All ages are welcome from six years to 80+ years.'
