INSPIRATION — the Church of the Nations International — is hosting an international guest speaker this week. On Tuesday April 24, Tom Brock will be speaking at Okehampton Baptist Church. Tom and Suzie Brock are the directors of Wave Of Life Ministries International, and have been serving in full-time ministry for more than 30 years. They have founded and directed ministries which have sent missionaries to four continents, and have contributed to teaching seminars, retreats, rallies, church services, schools, television and radio ministries. Tom will be appearing at 7.30pm — for further details contact Mike Davies on 01837 659233. The next Christians Together service is on Sunday April 22 at the Charter Hall, Okehampton. Led by the Rev Mike Davies, of Inspiration Church, the service starts at 6.30pm and includes member churches of Christians Together in Okehampton. The spring weather brought many visitors to Fairplace Church on Easter Sunday to hear a service led by the Rev Philip Wagstaff. Each member of the congregation placed a flower on the cross and was given a small Easter egg as a symbol of the resurrection. The Sunday Club children later made Easter nests in which they placed their eggs, along with an Easter chick.
