CALLINGTON Community College has been successful in being re-accredited for the International School Award for the next three years.

The award recognises the numerous partnerships the college enjoys with families, schools, colleges and universities across the world as well as work with an international focus in many subject areas.

College principal Gary Lobbett said: 'Internationalism is an essential aspect of learning — I am delighted that so many students at the college are able to participate in exchanges, tours and conferences and visit many foreign countries during each year.'

This year the college is preparing to work on a range of projects with schools in France, the Netherlands, China, Spain and the United States among others.
